At the start of the last week of Lent, Pope Francis asked all Christians to witness to the cross of Christ, the mystery we will contemplate during Holy Week.
The Angelus on Sunday and the General Audience both took place in the library of the Apostolic Palace due to anti-Covid precautionary measures.
These same measures will characterise the Holy Week/Easter liturgies in which a small number of the faithful will be present.
The Pope assures us that as we continue to face a time of trial, Mary Most Holy is close to us with her maternal tenderness.
