THE first monthly movie night, run by Sacred Heart Cathedral parish Social Communications Committee (SOCCOM) is back again after having halted by the COVID-19 government restrictions during the pandemic.
The first movie entitled “Love and Mercy” was screened in Room F8 at the parish center on Jul 24. It was about the incredible true story of St Faustina Kowalska.
This movie sends out the message of God’s merciful and love poured out for us and that He wants us to turn to Him with trust and repentance while there is still time.
God revealed Himself to St Faustina Kowalska, a simple and holy nun in Poland, requesting her to be the secretary and apostle of his Divine Mercy.
The movie, which lasted one hour and 50 minutes, drew a good response of 96 people to come and watch it.
Sacred Heart SOCCOM thanked parish priest Fr Paul Lo for his support and advice, as well as the Apostolate of the Divine Mercy for sharing the movie.
