Malaysia Day Mass at Sacred Heart Cathedral on Sep 16 is also being broadcasted live

KOTA KINABALU – Parishioners of Sacred Heart Cathedral Parish showed their patriotism in a heartfelt way, albeit virtually.
The parish, in keeping the stipulated SOP to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, marked the 58th Malaysia Day with a low-key celebration.
The live streamed Mass, which was broadcasted at 8 am in the morning Sep 16, was also attended physically by 20 parishioners. The Mass was celebrated in the national language, Bahasa Malaysia.
Fr Russell Lawrine presided as main celebrant, with Fathers Sunny Chung and Saimon William as concelebrants.
