KUCHING — Kuching Archbishop Simon Poh’s father, Joseph Poh Tong Boo passed away in Tawau, Sabah on Sunday, Mar 23 2025.
The funeral Mass will be held at 9.30am on Mar 26 (Wednesday) in Tawau Holy Trinity Catholic Church, followed by cremation.
The late Joseph Poh’s cremated remains will be brought back to Kuching for a Wake at the Funeral Chapel of St Joseph’s Cathedral, from 9.00am onwards on Mar 28 (Friday). Wake prayers will be held at 8.00pm.
A requiem Mass for Joseph Poh will be celebrated at St Joseph’s Cathedral at 9.30am on 29 March (Saturday), presided by Archbishop Simon, with interment at St Peter’s Columbarium, Padungan at around 11.00am.
