KENINGAU – In conjunction with Bible Sunday on July 12, the Keningau Diocese Youth Commission (KDYC) invited youths to take part in the 7-Step Bible Group activity.
The objective of the activity was to encourage youths to use the Bible (God’s Word) as a source of inspiration and reflection in daily life and to share the Word of God with each other.
KDYC also provided the 7-Step Guide on social media to guide them through the process.
The youths were asked to form groups of four to five people and decide the date, time and place of the meeting. They were given a choice to do it face to face at home or in church (by following the SOPs) or online.
On July 12, the youth followed the live-streaming video in celebration of Bible Sunday organised by the Youth Commission via the Youtube channel and Facebook page of the Keningau Diocese Youth Commission. The theme was “Reading the Bible with the heart”. Among the ‘live’ content was Bible Quiz, Bible Sharing, Bible Sunday Message and personal sharing from the youth on how they live the Word of God in their lives.
It is very moving and inspiring to see the youth take the time to participate these activity even in these difficult times. – Herald Malaysia
