To: All Clergy, Religious and Parish Priests
Peace and greetings.
I wholeheartedly endorse and recommend the Mission Community School (MCS) Programme, a project by the Malacca Johore Diocese and the Institute of Formation Fondacio Asia for all Catholics in the 9 dioceses of Malaysia.
This programme enables young men and women (age 21 to 39 years old) who are committed to discerning their life-path towards priesthood, religious life, pastoral work or mission service, to experience human and spiritual formation, and grow in service to love and care for the other and God’s creation.
In view of the current situation, the blended programme approach is made available now for interested participants which includes a combination of online classes and regular classes (subject to the best time to migrate to regular class).
PROGRAMME OPTIONS
OPTION 1
- Online classes from March – August 2021
- Regular classes resume in September 2022
(or) OPTION 2
- Online classes from March – December 2021
- Regular classes resume in January 2022
The registration for the programme opens from March 2021. Participants may begin with any of the modules offered during March to May 2021.
I encourage the young adults from your local communities and dioceses to take this time to build their human potential and capacities to be equipped to embrace and respond better to the changes in the world today.
The MCS team will contact you or youth office for your support. We look forward to your kind cooperation. Please see attachment (below) for further details on the programme.
