CHANCERY NOTICE
With a heavy heart and upon Archbishop John Wong’s instruction, I would like to inform all of you that Fr Lawrence Kim had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer stage four. As of today, the cancer has spread to his lymph nodes and lungs.
Fr Lawrence Kim will start chemotherapy at St Mary’s Hospital, Seoul, South Korea, on 4 Nov 2024.
His Grace urges all the faithful in the Archdiocese of Kota Kinabalu to be united in prayer for Fr Lawrence Kim that he will get through with the treatment and get well soon.
“By human resources, it is impossible, but not for God: because for God, everything is possible.” (Mk 10:27)
