Catechist Hendry Sodikit visiting Primus offering him communion

INANAM – Indisposed Catholic, Primus Gulabok Bingkasan, is not forgotten by the church comes Sundays of the month.
On Dec 3, 2023 Catechist Hendry Sodikit visited him to pray and offered communion. It was his scheduled visit after Sunday Mass at St Mary’s Chapel, Kionsom.
Primus, 89, fell sick in the last three months and was bedridden for the first month after being discharged from the hospital. He is now able to move around the house using a walking stick.
Health permitted, he was among the regular faithful attending Sunday Mass at the St Mary’s Chapel.
“I am grateful that despite of my ailments, I am not far from the Church. Thanks to the religious from the Church who never forget people like me in the village,” Primus said.
Catechist Hendry said that it was his routine once a month to visit and offered communion to those who are sick in the village.
Apart from Primus, the catechist also visited two other indisposed living nearby in Kg Kiapad. They are Johnny Golius and Gerald Giad, both bedridden.
