THE Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Malaysia-Singapore-Brunei (CBCMSB) has launched the Conference Website to better respond to the needs of the faithful at its recent August conference meeting.
The decision to launch a simple website to be made accessible to the public was unanimously reached at an earlier meeting in January this year.
The aim of this website is to provide basic information, as well as to be a platform for the voice of the Bishops’ Conference. It is to be a sign of the Church’s presence in the public space, offering the faithful the service of her commissions and offices, as well as being accessible to the faithful.
The words of the President of CBCMSB, Bishop Sebastian Francis “We wish to be a sharing and listening church, drawing close to you…” sums up well the heart message of the Conference.
